In addition to her clinical work, she is also deeply committed to the education of physicians and allied healthcare providers on weight bias, advocating for respectful and weight-inclusive care. Dr. Pashby has shared her expertise through presentations at conferences both in the U.S. and internationally. She is an active member on the National Board of Directors of the Obesity Action Coalition and also a Research Assistant Professor of Psychology at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Originally from Maine, she has called Washington D.C. her home for over two decades. In her free time she enjoys learning Spanish, doing yoga or weightlifting, and treasures time with her wonderful daughter, husband, and dog. An extrovert at heart, she loves engaging with others.

Dr. Donahue’s passion for health and wellness motivated her to become a Nutritional Therapy Consultant through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Additionally, she completed advanced training in Mind Body Medicine at the Benson-Henry Institute, Harvard Medical School, as well as clinical training in Food As Medicine at the Center for Mind Body Medicine.

"I HAVE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED MY PATIENTS TO GO TO THERAPY BUT HAVE NEVER REALLY NEEDED IT MYSELF. BUT THE LAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN SO OVERWHELMING FOR ME, I DECIDED TO TAKE MY OWN ADVICE. FINDING SOMEONE THAT COULD UNDERSTAND THE LIFE OF A PHYSICIAN HAS BEEN INVALUABLE."
